It's been a while!
Gav and I took a wonderful holiday to Mui Ne to celebrate our 3 year anniversary as well as my 26th birthday. We had such a wonderful time on the beach, swimming, biking, and hiking around the amazing Vietnamese coast line. On our way back to Saigon we were in a bus accident that left me covered with cuts all over body (I was the only one injured, the window next to me exploded all over me.). Really put a damper on our two weeks of time off. The past week we have been staying home alot and resting up, back to school tomorrow for us! Today Gavin and I tried in vain to go to the grocery store. Once again it was closed, it has been over a week. I guess the Lunar New Year is a much bigger holiday here than I realized.
I have a few eats to share with you:
IN OTHER NEWS: My Goals for February
I started to go to the gym again before our trip and plan to continue that once they open back up tomorrow. I have also abstained from land animals for three weeks and plan to keep this going. I feel much better both mentally and physically when I don't eat meat.

I have a few eats to share with you:
Massive pile of veggie spring rolls with various sauces for dipping
Part of our huge Korean dinner from the other night (camera batteries died before the main course)
Gavin's Breakfast/lunch today: a Black Cat burger with fries
My breakfast/lunch today: a massive Mission style veggie burrito at the Black Cat

I have been very busy the past few days with work, fun and getting ready for the Lunar New Year. The Giant and I will be leaving for a trip on Wednesday morning, and don't have plans to return until the First (My Birthday!) Who knows if we will even come back to the city, we may just keep on traveling!
TET holiday is pretty major here and everything closes down for a week or so. I have been stocking our cupboards with snacks and packing the fridge full of beer just in case everything really is shut down!
My other big news is my birthday present! Gavin got me an electric bike! You can read more about it HERE.
I guess this will be my last post for a week or maybe longer, well, Happy New Year!
